YSR : A dynamic leader

After such a long time, its my real real bad luck to give a post like this. No one din't even expect that such a great and massive leader expires this soon.
YSR : Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy left this state and congress all alone. He died in a helicopter crash near kurnool. Andhra pradesh is shocked and is in deep mourning on losing its son. We lost a great leader very soon and i have no words to explain my grief.
My deep condolences for the officials--Wesley, Subramanyam, pilots-> Bhatia and M.S.Reddy who died in the crash along with our CM.

A decade ago when Sharad Pawar was quitting the Congress over the Sonia Gandhi foreign origins issue, he told a group of journalists, "In the Congress party, there is no place for genuine mass leaders. There is only the high command and the loyal followers." That was 1999. Ten years later, it seems that Pawar was both right and wrong. He was right to the extent that in the Congress, the high command is ubiquitous and the Supreme Leader is unchallenged. He was wrong that the Congress could no longer throw up a regional satrap. Y.S.Rajashekhar Reddy was proof that it still possible to be a virtual one man show in state politics, and yet survive in the Congress.

When YSR became chief minister in 2004, he was fighting both history and geography. Congress chief ministers in Andhra had been practiced in the art of musical chairs. The previous Congress government in 1989 had seen three chief ministers in five years. The Congress government before that had seen four chief ministers in five years (a chaotic situation that eventually saw the rise of the idea of 'Andhra pride' in the guise of NT Rama Rao). Even the wily P.V.Narasimha Rao, who was able to stay as prime minister for a full five year term as head of a minority government could only last for fifteen months in Hyderabad in the 1970s. It was almost as if it was more difficult to manage the complex caste and regional factions in Andhra than it was to control politics at the Centre. More so in YSR's case because he came from the relatively backward region of Rayalseema, not seen as dominant in state politics. And yet, YSR was able to prove the skeptics wrong, not only by lasting the full five year term, but even more remarkably by getting re-elected with an equally comprehensive mandate five years later.
No surprises then that YSR was a great favourite of Sonia Gandhi, whose political philosophy is based on the core idea that the Congress's future lies with reaching out to India's poor. In fact, it would be no exaggeration to suggest that the UPA would not have been in power in 2004 and 2009 but for the remarkable success it achieved in Andhra. The flip side though of creating a personality cult in a political party is that when the individual disappears from the scene, then the resultant vacuum is almost impossible to fill. That will be the big challenge confronting the Congress as it comes to terms with the loss of its strongest chief minister. Only Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy(YSR's son) can fulfill the state dreams and be a perfect and dynamic leader after YSR. Lets all hope that the CM chair goes to Y.S.Jagan.

WE ALWAYS MISS YOU "YSR".
No one can be such a great leader as you did...May your soul rest in peace..!!

Happy friendship day !!

As the first Sunday of august is considered as the friendship day...we celebrate and greet our friends and enjoy the sweeetest moments with our close friends. On this eve i wanna dedicate a poem for all the friends in this world.

You're my friend and that is true,
but the gift was given from me to you.
we went through moments that were good and bad,
even moments that were happy and sad.
you supported me when i was in tears,
we stuck together when we were in fear,

its really sad that it had to be this way,
but it has reached its very last day.
miles away cant keep us apart,
'cause you'll always be in my heart.

" Make new friends
But keep the oldOne is sliver and the other gold !! "

Poem For My Best Friend : DEAR FRIENDS ARE HARD TO FIND
DEAR FRIENDS BRING PEACE OF MIND
YOU MY BEST FRIEND ... ARE ONE OF A KIND

Magadheera -- The prestigious movie in telugu

The most talked about movie of this season happens to be ‘MAGADHEERA’ and it is gearing up to hit the screens during the end of this month. Meanwhile, the audio release happened grandly and the tunes were composed by the veteran M.M Keeravani.
It is the most prestigious movie with a budget of mostly 50 crores, the high-budget movie in telugu. The director S.S Rajamouli treated the movie in a different way and gave a Hollywood look to the film. The shooting of this movie is continuously done for 282 days and the horse riding episodes of charan are simply awesome.
The songs are also good and every cine goer is much awaited for the release of this movie after watching the trailers of the movie. Kajal looks simple awesome as queen and charan is all set to prove his acting talent once again... Anyways, we should wait for the movie till July 29th 2009 for the release which is ready with 1500 prints all over the world. . .
Here are two "awesome" trailers from the movie....

The " Legend "

What a remarkable final - wow.... In one of the most gripping matches of his storied career, Roger Federer finally created history by surviving the longest fifth set in a Wimbledon final, and an astonishing serving performance by American Andy Roddick, to win a record 15th grand slam title.
Federer's 5-7 7-6 (8-6) 7-6 (7-5) 3-6 16-14 victory in four hours and 18 minutes came 12 months after he had suffered a heartbreaking defeat here in another epic five-set battle with Rafael Nadal.
It's a crazy match i've ever seen as i am a tennis freak. For Andy Roddick to lose three Wimbledon finals must be pretty hard to take, but Federer is a brilliant player, and to win fifteen Grand Slams is an amazing record unlikely to be beaten for a long time to come.
A sixth Wimbledon crown puts Federer behind only Pete Sampras and William Renshaw, who have both won seven, on the All-England Club honours roll. Federer also regained the world No.1 ranking that he had lost to his recent nemesis Rafael Nadal in August last year after 237 consecutive weeks at the top.
As a tennis addict I am always glued to the TV set during Wimbledon fortnight, the only thing missing this year was not seeing Nadal being able to defend his title, and Murray missing out on the final. Hopefully next year will be different but nothing can be taken away from the triumph of Roger Federer in winning again.Roddick was down but never out. Get on the fast lane

Well, quite literally so! Get nitrogen for your car tyres and feel the difference for yourself. I think its not available in hyderabad still, but one of my friends from bangalore told me regarding this.
In Banaglore, you can get nitrogen for your tyres at the HP petrol pump on (Old) Airport Road itseems. And, he told me the exact address. . He said, "If you’re coming from Marathalli, then look for a Pizza Hut on your left, you'll find this place immediately after the crossing." But, i hope hyderabad also provides this facility.

They charge Rs 30 per tyre for the first fill itseems. The fill apparently lasts 6 months. Subsequent cost is Rs 10 per tyre. And, my friend also told me the following benefits :

->Car drives smoother (can vouch for it).

->You don’t have to worry about air pressure for six months (need to verify).

->Less likelihood of a tyre burst (need to verify).

->Better mileage (need to verify).

There may be some places in Hyderabad offering this service. If so, please update those locations as comments on this article.

Farewell - "MJ"

MJ
Long before Obama, Woods and Winfrey, an individual proved that race and color cannot fence someone from attaining everlasting glory and unimaginable dominance in a chosen field. Accomplishing these endeavors around a time when racial discrimination was still prevalent and in a field strictly reserved for the so-called “elite”, makes that achievement even more unique.
He was the undisputed emperor of music not just in his country but across the planet. An entire era watched him sing and dance, totally mesmerized and in awe of his beyond belief talent. At some juncture, we all tried to moon-walk like him. The world knows him as Michael Jackson, who without any iota of doubt is the all time greatest entertainer. He single handedly revitalized the pop music scene.

Michael Jackson began his music career at a tender age of 7 years. His first stint came in the Jackson 5 group that was formed along with his siblings in 60s. His solo career set off to a blazing start in 70s. His album Thriller (1982) stands out as the world’s best selling record of all time. Other albums like Off the wall, Bad, Dangerous and History are also among the world’s top selling albums.
Michael was inducted 2 times into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His awards include multiple Guinness World Records, 13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career – more than any other male artist and sale of over 750 million records worldwide, making him the world's best selling male solo pop artist.

Amidst these inconceivable peaks came unthinkable lows. His personal life and image took a severe beating as allegations of child molestation surfaced. His reclusive life style during the last decade further strengthened the media speculations. Despite these contentions, Michael’s place in the history as the most popular artist in show business is cemented.
If there is an international celebrity who is recognized in small towns and villages in India (or any country for that matter), its Michael Jackson all hands down. This is the true testament of his international fame and recognition that transcended across each and every country.

It is often said that when music transcends from an artist’s heart and soul, it has an indelible effect on the audience. And probably that’s why Michael is way up there – the best there ever was, the best there ever is and the best there ever will be. Rest in peace MJ..

Happy Fathers Day

Its fathers day today and, i wish my dad a very happy fathers day. He inspires me a lot and he's the person whom i admire. I love to call him 'pappa' than dad or something else, hehe. He's a good friend of mine and he cares me a lot and loves me sooo much. He's always the best for me. He always encourages me towards my goal and helps me in reaching my destination. I will be very confident when he's beside me and his hand is on my shoulder. I love him sooo much and i am very lucky to have a father like him. I wish him a very Happy Fathers Day once again...
A small poem for my DAD....!!
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so,
He called it ... "DAD".

The most fucked-up article i've read recently

So wives and girlfriends need to "beware of the maid" because a well-known actor raped his. How much worse can you get at blaming the victim? Maybe the fact that the alleged rapist is a popular and good-looking actor and the victim is just a domestic help has something to do with this?
Way to go, Kalpana Sharma and the Times of India. I don't have enough words to express my disgust.

To sister...with love.

Its my sis. birthday and i wish her a very very happy birthday. I like her a lottt, and we always fight for silly things and i love it. She should celebrate many many birthdays like this.. And, On this occasion i wanna dedicate a poem for her....Hope, you guys too like it.
......................................................
A sister is the one who makes life easier to live,
Whom you can share our likes and dislikes with,
She is the one who tells us her vast secrets and feelings
And asks us to do the same,
And has the rights to know all our friends' name.
She makes us feel comfortable when we are sad,
She guides us the right way when we are bad,
She is more than any word can tell,
She holds us when we tend to fall.
She comes to know our problems through our eyes,
She is of course naughty but wise,
She is my life's sunrise.
We should always make oneself full
of these qualities to be a sister.
And my Sister you are the most beloved to me
As you care so much for me!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR SISTER!!!

We hate RACISM..!!!

Racism is the worst thing going on in abroad now. Most of the Indian students are being affected by this act. This racism is in America and Britain and also now in Australia. Its becoming worse these days....and, there's no one to listen their grief. Now-a-days every student is thinking twice and thrice before going to any foreign country...even their parents are.
I have been reading and watching through the media the most unfortunate and violent attacks on Indian students in Australia, some of them lying in a most critical condition in hospital. I have observed with utter dismay the anguish that these incidents have caused to the families of those who have become unfortunate victims...huh, these attacks are becoming very severe. Australia govt. should do something to stop this violence. Hope its will do so..huh.
Anyways, i will leave now. .
With love,
Ganesh
